My name is Kimberly Vang and I am a self-taught American abstract artist. What fuels my interest in painting is an interesting mixture of emotions that suddenly overwhelms me with a passion to paint.

unique and varying ways. I choose not to limit the potential for that perspective by putting a title on any of my work; I feel that each piece should not be limited to some poetic handle. My desire is for those who view my abstract paintings to feel a sense of freedom.

Born and raised in Oregon. I am a student of life and the world. Spending some of my creative time in the United States visiting relatives, with the majority of my time in Copenhagen, Denmark where I call my permanent home. My passion for painting is in my veins and commands expression on canvas. I prefer to allow as much room as possible for the art to be all it can be for as many as possible.
